Cariad Farm is located in a peaceful valley in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW, about 20 minutes north west of Kyogle, and about 45 minutes from Lismore. The farm land is mostly forest and mountains, with a beautiful creek flowing through. The property is surrounded by the Border Ranges National Park, World Heritage rainforest and Moore Park Nature Reserve is nearby. At Cariad Farm, life is simple, seeking to live in harmony with nature by respecting the environment and appreciating all living beings. Cariad Farm is an organic farm dedicated to growing a variety of foods - mostly fruits, vegetables and herbs with intentions to also grow spices, legumes, grains, nuts and seeds. Cariad Farm encourages eating vegetarian (vegan) foods without animal products. Cariad Farm is also a sanctuary for farm animals that are in need and want of a loving home. We already share the farm with horses, donkeys, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, geese, chickens and dogs. Wwoofers (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) are welcome at Cariad Farm, all throughout the year to help with organic gardening in the edible gardens, protecting and restoring native forest and creek areas, caring for the animals and other farm work. Wwoofers also have lots of opportunities for relaxation and recreation activities. We provide Wwoofers with healthy delicious vegetarian (vegan) meals without animal products.
